In December 2023, she was appointed Secretary of State at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, where she directly oversaw the tasks carried out by the Department of Funds and European Affairs, and the Department of State Patronage.

Tasks of the Department of Funds and European Affairs:

  1. Cooperation with EU bodies and institutions, in particular with the Council of the EU, the European Commission, and the European Parliament;
  2. Implementation of tasks resulting from the Minister’s participation in the central coordination system of Poland’s European policy, including work within the Committee for European Affairs, and handling matters arising from the activities of the Sejm and Senate related to Poland’s EU membership;
  3. Activities related to the implementation of the European Heritage Label and the European Capital of Culture;
  4. Coordination and participation in ad hoc working groups and Open Method of Coordination groups;
  5. Coordination of the Minister’s tasks regarding EU programmes dedicated to culture (including Creative Europe);
  6. Implementation of tasks resulting from the introduction of European initiatives in Poland;
  7. Execution of tasks related to state aid in programmes financed by EU funds, within the department’s scope of responsibility;
  8. Implementation of Priority VIII “Protection of cultural heritage and development of cultural resources” under the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme (POIiŚ) 2014–2020;
  9. Implementation of Priority VII “Culture” under the FEnIKS Programme 2021–2027;
  10. Execution of tasks related to Priority XI “Culture and cultural heritage” under POIiŚ 2007–2013, as specified in the Implementing Instructions for Intermediate Bodies;
  11. Implementation of programmes financed by EEA and Norway Grants in the field of culture;
  12. Information and promotional activities under POIiŚ 2014–2020 technical assistance, the FEnIKS Programme 2021–2027, and EEA/Norway Grants management, including: publishing, organizing training and conferences for beneficiaries, managing programme-specific websites, issuing newsletters, and preparing tenders (substantive descriptions);
  13. Participation in committees and working groups established to implement the Digital Poland Operational Programme 2014–2020 and European Funds for Digital Development;
  14. Participation in working groups and committees related to the management of National Smart Specializations (under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014–2020 and European Funds for the Modern Economy 2021–2027);
  15. Coordination of work related to the preparation and implementation of the systemic project “Comprehensive energy modernization of selected state art education institutions in Poland” financed under POIiŚ 2014–2020;
  16. Coordination of work related to the preparation and implementation of the systemic project “Comprehensive energy modernization of selected state archive buildings in Poland – Stage 1: documentation preparation” financed under POIiŚ 2014–2020;
  17. Coordination of work related to the implementation of the project “Comprehensive energy modernization of selected state archive buildings in Poland – Stage 2” financed under the FEnIKS Programme 2021–2027;
  18. Coordination of work related to the preparation and implementation of the project “Conservation Officers’ Action Plan” financed under POIiŚ 2014–2020 technical assistance and the FEnIKS Programme 2021–2027;
  19. Planning of own contribution funds for projects implemented by units subordinate to or supervised by the Ministry, under the implemented programmes (until financial agreements are signed);
  20. Tasks related to the coordination of horizontal tasks of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) at the Ministry level;
  21. Implementation of investments aimed at increasing energy efficiency of local social activity facilities under the KPO;
  22. Coordination of work related to the review and agreement of territorial contracts concerning cultural initiatives;
  23. Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of initiatives and projects included in territorial contracts;
  24. Activities related to the implementation of the “Promesa for Culture” Programme, in accordance with the department’s scope;
  25. Coordination of tasks related to EU regional policy in the field of culture, including cooperation with the European Commission and the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU;
  26. Programming and acquisition of EU funds for culture, including participation in negotiations of documents discussed in working groups;
  27. Programming and reviewing documents related to EU socio-economic development;
  28. Reviewing documents related to national socio-economic development;
  29. Programming support for culture within the framework of cohesion policy;
  30. Participation in committees and groups related to the implementation of EU funds;
  31. Participation in the programming process of cultural support within policies related to rural development;
  32. Efforts to include the domain of culture and national heritage in projects coordinated by relevant ministries and financed by EU funds;
  33. Dissemination of information about EU funds and programmes in the field of culture;
  34. Operation of IT tools supporting the management and monitoring of implemented programmes;
  35. Handling matters related to the reimbursement of travel expenses for Ministry employees participating in the work of the Council of the EU and its working groups.

Tasks of the Department of State Patronage:

  1. Handling matters related to the participation of Ministry representatives in the work of teams and councils whose scope of activity aligns with the department’s responsibilities, in cooperation with relevant organizational units;
  2. Carrying out tasks related to technical and organizational support, including organizing and recording meetings, and coordinating the preparation of materials for advisory bodies of the Minister dealing with issues within the department’s scope;
  3. Managing tasks related to the awarding of scholarships by the Minister from the Ministry’s budget (excluding budgetary funds under education and upbringing, and higher education), as well as scholarships and social assistance (excluding accounting and disbursement);
  4. Preparing templates of documents required by institutions managing the Minister’s programmes and own programmes;
  5. Acting as the coordinating unit as defined in the guidelines for own programmes of state cultural institutions financed by the Minister;
  6. Coordinating the implementation of procedures by managing institutions related to the execution of the Minister’s programmes;
  7. Analyzing and presenting the use of funds from the Minister’s Programmes by local government units, cultural institutions, and NGOs – with particular attention to territorial distribution and characteristics of supported projects;
  8. Supervising and executing tasks related to the awarding of Ministerial prizes for outstanding creative, artistic, and cultural achievements;
  9. Implementing tasks and managing long-term programmes resulting from the supervision of state cultural institutions;
  10. Carrying out the Minister’s duties related to the supervision of the Chief Director of State Archives;
  11. Cooperating with the Department of Cultural Heritage Abroad and Memorial Sites in providing financial and substantive support to Polish diaspora and émigré organizations and institutions engaged in science, culture, and the preservation of Polish cultural heritage abroad, including support for Polish diaspora museums, archives, and libraries – especially those affiliated with the Permanent Conference of Museums, Archives, and Libraries of Polish Communities in the West;
  12. Caring for and rescuing endangered Polish archival resources within the country;
  13. Managing tasks related to shaping the aesthetics of public space in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and spatial development;
  14. Coordinating activities related to the Ministry’s participation in the work of the Housing Council, including preparing materials and cooperating with the Council;
  15. Cooperating with the Department of Monument Protection and the Department of Security and Crisis Management in the development, updating, and implementation of the National Plan for the Protection of Cultural Property in Times of War.
